David has over 30 years experience in the real estate industry as a lawyer and owner/investor. David heads Singer Group Properties, LLC, an investment fund that has bought into bricks and mortar real estate as well as the Huffington Post, Betaworks, and Lerer Hippeau Ventures. Nearly four years ago, when he was contemplating the best physical platform from which to pursue these endeavors, he discovered the future: the wonderful world of coworking, first attended GCUC in 2012 and has since dived head first into the collaborative workspace waters. David led an angel funding round for Grind in 2012, and joined the Grind management team. David received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University and his JD from American University Washington College of Law. David served 12 years as a school board trustee in Harrison, New York; he’s also a dad, husband, and former trumpet player….
